Our boards and helpers are made exclusively from local woods, primarily maple, beech, ash and partly alder.

Proper care for wooden items

Our wooden items are natural products and do not require any special care.

Nevertheless, it is recommended to use the wood to be treated as follows:
  • After use, always wipe with a damp cloth and thoroughly remove all food residue. Always dry wet boards standing upright so that air can circulate freely around the board.
  • under no circumstances should it be put in the dishwasher!!!
  • If you want to avoid strong coloring substances discoloring your board, oil it lightly with fresh, clean cooking oil before using it for the first time. This will make the wood darker, but it will not absorb the color as easily. This will make the board easier to care for and will keep it appetizingly clean for longer.
